Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before creating your first numbered ticket set.

What is NumberinGo?
NumberinGo is a Canva app that turns one active ticket design into sequentially numbered pages. It is useful for raffle tickets, event passes, coupons, vouchers, and similar designs.
How many numbered copies can I create?
Free can generate between 1 and 50 copies per batch. Lifetime Pro can generate between 1 and 100 copies per batch. Canva's own page and rate limits still apply. The default quantity is 10.
What is included in Free and Lifetime Pro?
Free includes three successful batches per calendar month, with up to 50 numbers per batch. Lifetime Pro is a one-time USD $4.99 purchase that raises the batch limit to 100 and removes the monthly NumberinGo usage limit.
What does the {{NUMBER}} placeholder do?
It marks the location where the serial number should appear. Add {{NUMBER}} as its own text element on the active page and place it precisely where you want the number.
Can I add a prefix or suffix?
Yes. You can combine the sequence with optional text such as TKT- before the number or -VIP after it.
What does Digits mean?
Digits controls zero padding. For example, a start number of 1 with 4 digits becomes 0001, 0002, 0003, and so on.
Will my original ticket page be changed?
No. NumberinGo preserves the original template page and adds the generated numbered pages to the design.
Can I edit a number after generation?
Yes. The background of each generated page is flattened, but the serial number is added as a separate editable Canva text layer.
Why is the ticket background flattened?
Canva's current stable app tools do not allow an app to clone an arbitrary design page with every element preserved as editable. NumberinGo uses a flattened copy of the source page and adds an editable number layer on top.
Why did generation fail?
Check that the active page contains the exact {{NUMBER}} placeholder, the quantity is within your plan limit, and the sequence fits the selected number of digits. Also confirm you are working in a supported Canva design, not a Canva Doc or Whiteboard.
Does NumberinGo upload my design to an external server?
No. NumberinGo uses Canva's own export, upload, and design tools during generation. It does not send ticket content to a separate NumberinGo service or keep an external ticket database.
